I could tell you that this series is about the subjugation of women and how, at a very young age, we receive and believe undermining messages such as the aforementioned words without being able to define how they affect us. And it would be true.

But I could also tell you it’s inspired by my deep unrealized desire to have a set of days-of-the-week panties as a young girl. Maybe it’s a bit of both, though I won’t try to nail down the concept too tight, as the work might lose its magic and disappear. Also, revealing my interpretation prohibits the viewers from adding their own narrative to the work.
